Avocado & Tuna tartar

  • 250 g  sushi grade Tuna

  • 1½ teaspoon Sesame oil

  • 2 cm of peeled ginger, grated

  • ¼ teaspoon Salt and pepper

  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced

  • 1teaspoonfresh lemon juice

  • 1 avocado, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 chilli finally chopped

  • 1 tps of honey

  • 5 tbs soya sauce

  1. Remove and discard any dark parts from the tuna. Finely dice the remaining tuna (cubes of 1 cm)and place in a large bowl.

  2. Add the spring onions, chilli and ginger to the tuna and mix well. Keep bowl in the fridge.

  3. In a separate bowl mix together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and sesame oil

  4. Thinly slice avocado.

  5. To serve, press the avocado  into a ring on each serving plate and on top the mixture with tuna.  Carefully remove the ring.

  6. Serve with rye bread.
